Donate a Summer Beach Novel to the BSC Library
Beachcomber
has a very small library located in the same shed as the Lost and Found.
Using the present political parlance, I’d say, "We want to grow
our library." Chances are good that you purchased a beach novel last
summer. If you’re willing to part with it, please shake off the sand
and drop it off in the BSC library so that someone else may read it
this summer while they’re at the pool.
Suggested books to bring include popular fiction by authors like Steven
King, Sue Grafton, Michael Crichton, Faye Kellerman, etc. Feel free
to bring any book that has been on Oprah's reading list. Bring any of
the Harry Potter books; there must be a child somewhere on Earth that
hasn’t read one yet.
Please do not bring your old college textbooks. A Dialectic
Approach to the Deconstruction of Neo-Postmodern Haiku may have
been a fascinating topic when you were a student, but it's not at the
top of anyone else’s reading list.
Here are some other books to leave at home:

The Corporate Travel Guide to Outer Mongolia
-
Learn to Speak Esperanto like a Native !
